Life comes at you fast.

After 29 consecutive victories and their distinction as college football's reigning national champion, the Florida State Seminoles were exposed in a big way in Thursday afteroon's Rose Bowl.

The Oregon Ducks trampled them in every aspect of the game, moving up-and-down the field at will to the tune of a 59-20 final score.

Unfortunately, according to freshman linebacker Anthony Valdes' Twitter account, some jerks who were way-too-upset about the loss with nothing better to do actually went out and keyed his car and slashed its tires.

If Valdes' claims are true -- and there's little evidence to indicate he'd make this up -- it's just the ugly flip-side of a town that truly cares about football too much. When you're losing they'll slash your tires and key your car. When you're winning they'll act in a way that raises questons about the school and police department's commitment to justice.
