The Florida Gators will look to end their disappointing 2014 season on a high note in Saturday afternoon's Birmingham Bowl match-up versus East Carolina. And you can watch a free live stream of all the action RIGHT HERE.

Florida entered the season with high expectations to compete at the top of the SEC East, but the offense stagnated under head coach Will Muschamp. Muschamp was fired following the team's regular season finale, and Colorado State head coach (and former Alabama OC) Jim McElwain is set to take his place. McElwain won't be manning the Gators' sidelines until next year, but he will be in attendance Saturday to watch his players.

One player to watch in particular is freshman quarterback Treon Harris. He had 896 passing yards and 291 rushing yards to go with 10 touchdowns (7 in the air, 3 via the ground) in a shortened season. A strong performance in the Birmingham Bowl would make him the presumptive favorite to lead the offense going into 2015.

East Carolina isn't a household name when it comes to football excellence, but the Pirates have been one of the best stories out of the AAC this year. They're 8-4 and have one of the most explosive offenses in all of the FBS. Senior quarterback Shane Carden has over 4,300 yards and 28 touchdowns on the season.

These two teams have only met once before, 33 years ago. The Gators took that contest, 24-17.
