The Florida State Seminoles were on the wrong end of a beatdown at the hands of the Oregon Ducks, and tensions nearly boiled over on the sideline during the game. Head coach Jimbo Fisher got into it with quarterback Jameis Winston on the sidelines as the game was falling apart.

Is Jameis Winston Simply Misunderstood?

The exchange happened during the third quarter after Oregon scored a defensive touchdown following maybe the least athletic play of Winston's career. The quarterback tried to elude the Oregon pass rush and lost his footing while trying to throw the ball away, but he fumbled the ball, allowing an Oregon defensive lineman to scoop it up and score.

For those that cannot read lips, Jimbo tells Jameis, "If you don't calm the f--- down, you're going to the bench." The Seminoles were not playing with any kind of composure at the time, and it ultimately led to the Ducks blowing the doors off of them.

Saban Passing On NFL Jobs

The 59-20 loss was the first of Winston's collegiate career. Oregon set numerous offensive Rose Bowl records during the game, including most points and most yards. The loss also immediately get people asking about Winston's future, although he declined to mention anything about the NFL or returning to school, saying instead that he is ready to focus on the upcoming baseball season.

When the game was clearly decided in the fourth quarter, Fisher did remove Winston, as well as many of the other starters. Oregon also removed their starters from the game once it ceased to be a contest.
