Former WWE Superstar Kevin Nash had his legends deal suspended following his Christmas Eve domestic incident with his son and the WWE also had to suspend his legends deal per company policy and cancel an upcoming Monday Night RAW appearance.
Nash got into a physical altercation with his son and was arrested early Christmas Eve morning and the WWE opted to exercise its policy of suspending the legends deal of the former WWE and WCW Heavyweight Champion.
Wrestlezone reports that the WWE has a rule that if any talent has a domsestic abuse charge pending, the company automatically suspends their deal while the charges play out. If Nash ends up having his case get dismissed, he will then be reinstated by the company.
Nash originally signed his legends deal with the WWE in 2011 and has a few more years left on it, but the reinstatement of that pact all depends on how his case shakes out.
The WWE had planned a Monday Night RAW reunion special featuring Nash and former nWo teammates Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan, but the company had no choice but to pull "Big Sexy" from the appearance due to his pending legal troubles.
According to TMZ Sports, police reports from the incident between Nash and his son, Tristen, say that Nash claimed that his son came home drunk and belligerent toward Nash and his wife.
His son allegedly spit in Nash's face after an argument and elbowed him before Nash was able to pin him to the ground. Tristen then scratched Nash's face.
Tristen claimed that Nash was arguing with him about his girlfriend and then chokeslammed his son to the ground, causing him to blackout from the impact. The cops then arrested Nash based on feelings that he was the "primary aggressor."
There were talks of Nash going into the WWE Hall of Fame -- possibly as Diesel after Hall went in under the Razor Ramon moniker last year. There is also speculation that the nWo will be inducted as a faction and Nash and Hall will go in under their real names if and when that occurs.
There is no telling whether his arrest has any impact on those plans, but everything is put on hold while Nash's legal troubles work themselves out.
