The WWE has brought back The Authoirty and is likely to ratchet up the feud between Triple H and Steve "Sting" Borden heading into WrestleMania 31, but it doesn't seem like "The Vigilante" will enter the Royal Rumble Match.

5 Predictions for the WWE in 2015

According to Wrestlezone, The Authority returning to television after Seth Rollins used Edge to bait John Cena to bring them back was planned for a long time and wasn't a knee-jerk reaction to the recent low ratings for the company's flagship program.

Triple H vs. Sting is still the plan for WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California after the events that unfolded between the two at Survivor Series in November.

Per the report, despite the Sting and Triple H feud, "The Vigilante" is not expected to be part of the 30-man over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble Match at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. There was some speculation Sting could end up being a suprise entrant, but it appears unlikely.

Sting signed a six-appearance deal with the WWE -- one of which was used at Survivor Series -- and he'll likely use the rest of the dates to build toward the bout with Triple H at the "Show of Shows."

There has been some reports that Sting may have another match against Seth Rollins, but nothing has been confirmed and it is likely that Sting vs. Triple H will be his first and only match in the WWE.

There were also rumors that Sting would battle The Undertaker, but his career is up in the air after he lost The Streak and was injured by Brock Lesnar at last year's event.

Now, the word is that if 'Taker does come back, he will be matched up with Bray Wyatt for WrestleMania 31.

The WWE has huge plans for Sting in 2015, but it doesn't seem as though he'll be an entrant in the Royal Rumble Match later this month.
