2014 has been a memorable year for good and bad reasons in the WWE and as the sun sets on a memorable 365 days in the company, it is time to look ahead to the New Year.

After a year that saw stunning departures, triumphant returns and valiant victories, the WWE ushers in 2015 undoubtedly with more surprises in store.

Here are five predictions for what 2015 will hold in the WWE:

Honorable Mentions: CM Punk will not return, John Cena will not turn heel and more NXT talent will take over the main roster.

5) Roman Reigns will win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and become the No. 1 star: It seems like an obvious no-brainer, but things change rapidly in the WWE. The current rumors call for Reigns to defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31, but there have also been rumors that there are some with cold feet on the prospect of that backstage. While the WWE may change its plans for the "Show of Shows," there is no doubt that Reigns will capture the richest prize in the game in 2015.

4) Brock Lesnar Will Stay: Despite rumors of a three-way bidding war between WWE, UFC and Bellator MMA for "The Beast's" services when his contract runs out after WrestleMania, we predict that Lesnar will stay. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been rumored to want to return to the MMA realm, but the WWE offers him a less dangerous way to compete while he also gets to work a part-time schedule for a lot of money. Lesnar won't escape the "Show of Shows" as WWE Champion, but that doesn't mean he won't be around after the dust settles on the biggest show of 2015.

3) Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins will have WWE World Heavyweight Championship reigns: While 2015 is likely to be the Year of Roman Reigns, no two Superstars closed out 2014 hotter than Ziggler and Rollins. Ziggler had one of the most memorable performances in Survivor Series history and then had a Match of the Year contender with Luke Harper in their Ladder Match at TLC last month while excelling to the top of the roster. As for Rollins, since the split of The Shield he has been on a tear, climbing the ladder to being the No. 1 heel in the company. Rollins has turned it up on the mic and in the ring and will be a driving force in 2015. With such momentum on their side, the "Showoff" and "Mr. Money in the Bank" will both win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the New Year.

2) The Undertaker won't be back: Since losing The Streak and getting injured against Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX last April, there is a lot of doubt over 'Taker's career. While there have been rumors that he will battle Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, nothing is set in stone and doubt has been casted over a possible return for him. We believe that The Undertaker may return for another match somewhere down the line, but it will not be at WrestleMania 31.

1) 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin will wrestle one more match: While he has vehemently denied rumors of a return to the ring for the first time since 2003, 2015 will be as good of a year as any for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to make a comeback in the squared circle. Austin hasn't competed since battling The Rock at WrestleMania XIX, but there have been mixed signals over whether or not he will lace up the boots again. At age 50, Austin is running out of time to return to the ring and WrestleMania 31 could mark the perfect time for a "Stone Cold" return.

As 2014 comes to a close, the WWE will forge ahead with a big year expected in 2015.
