Reports indicate that the following was taped Sunday night for the episode of SmackDown that is set to air this Friday, Dec. 26 from Sioux City, Iowa as the company counts down to the Royal Rumble on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Ryback and Chris Jericho Respond To CM Punk's Comments

In the main event, Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns defeated The Big Show and Seth Rollins in a tag team match after Reigns hit Rollins with a spear and pinned him.

Hulk Hogan kicked off the show to reveal he was the guest GM for this edition. Rollins then interrupted him and said he didn't belong in the WWE ring anymore until Ziggler came out. The Big Show then emerged and threatened to knock Ziggler out. Finally, Reigns came out and Hogan announced the main event.

Elsewhere, Ryback defeated Kane via Shellshocked. Rusev tried to get involved and was knocked off the apron by Ryback, who then ducked a chokeslam and hit Shellshocked. After the match, Kane and Rusev beat down Ryback.

Later on, Rusev defended his United States Championship against Dean Ambrose, but the match was interrupted by Bray Wyatt and the "Eater of Worlds" and "Lunatic Fringe" brawled, leading to Wyatt retreating after Ambrose got a steel chair.

In other action, Adam Rose defeated R-Truth while Jimmy Uso topped The Miz with two super kicks and a splash.

In Divas action, Naomi overcame Alicia Fox in a quick match.

This was the final SmackDown of 2014 and continued the focus on the WWE's main storylines and feuds.
