Some doubts have emerged backstage in the WWE regarding Roman Reigns' huge push and potential main event match with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31.
5 Superstars That Could Replace John Cena As The Top Guy In The WWE
Since the split of The Shield this past summer, Reigns has been getting groomed to take one of the top spots in the WWE, but according to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there is said to be some doubts behind the scenes regarding his push.
It has long been rumored that Reigns will win the Royal Rumble Match on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and go on to dethrone the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in the Bay Area.

Reigns hasn't looked great in his lengthy singles matches and his promo skills need some work, leading to a lot of skepticism over him being pushed as "the guy" with WrestleMania lurking just around the corner.
Reigns took some acting lessons to get better, but not everyone in the WWE is sold on him. It is still likely, however, that the WWE sticks to its original plans.
The WWE likes to use WrestleMania as a stepping stone to showcase some of its younger talent and is in desperate need of some new top babyfaces.
While John Cena is the top guy in the company, the WWE realizes it's time to build new stars and the organization is turning to Reigns to be the man to carry them going forward, partially due to a lack of options.
The WWE has turned Randy Orton face and will continue to push him as a good guy, but he has been around for a while and isn't exactly fresh.
With Daniel Bryan sustaining a career-threatening neck injury shortly after his huge showcase win at WrestleMania XXX and CM Punk bolting the company and eventually signing with UFC, the WWE's crop for the next potential big young babyface Superstar is running thin.
The WWE is down to Reigns and his former Shield partner Dean Ambrose as the next potential huge babyfaces. While Ambrose is noticeably better on the microphone and in the ring than Reigns, he doesn't have the look and build of Reigns, which is something the WWE is huge on.
The WWE began slowly pushing Reigns last year as he shined in the traditional match at the 2013 Survivor Series by eliminating four of his five opponents and then shattered Kane's elimination record for a single Rumble Match last January.
The WWE started ratcheting up the speed of his push after The Shield split up in June, but it was put on hold when he had to undergo emergency hernia surgery in September. The emergency operation caused the WWE to cancel Reigns' planned match with Seth Rollins at Night of Champions in September.
Reigns returned to action this past Tuesday night on the live Super SmackDown telecast and defeated Fandango as the WWE once again is speeding up his push.
Reigns also won the Superstar of the Year Slammy Award which had many people accusing the WWE of rigging the vote to get their top guy over.
While there are some doubts surrounding Reigns, the WWE is likely to still go with the Lesnar vs. Reigns match at WrestleMania 31 nonetheless due to the lack of options for guys Lesnar could battle.
Lesnar will face Cena at the Royal Rumble next month in what is booked as their "Final Battle" and will mark the third time they face-off since August.
After ending The Streak of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX last April, Lesnar defeated Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam in August.
Lesnar then lost to Cena via DQ at Night of Champions the following month in what was the part-time wrestler's last match to date.
Following that bout, "The Beast" was off of WWE television until returning for Monday Night RAW last week and he's expected to factor into major storylines heading into WrestleMania season.
While there are several detractors and doubters when it comes to Reigns and his big push, he's still likely to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the biggest event of 2015.
