Jameis Winston has gone back and forth on whether he will declare himself eligible for the 2015 NFL draft, but his coach is prepared no matter what he decides. Jimbo Fisher indicated in a radio interview that he will have a discussion with Jameis about his future after the Seminoles are done with the college football playoff.

Snoop Dogg And Son To Star In Series About Recruitment

According to ESPN, the Seminoles coach is not sure exactly which way his star quarterback is leaning with regard to the NFL draft. "Jameis loves college football, but I think he's going to be one of the top two players drafted," Fisher said. "He's got to make a choice. He's got to see what he wants to do. But it would not shock me either way."

Winston has had numerous off-the-field incidents during his time at Florida State, and he is currently awaiting the results of his code of conduct hearing. He may have no consequences, or he could be expelled. In the meantime, he is continuing to prepare for Florida State's game against Oregon in the first round of the playoff.

Fisher went on to speak very highly of Winston as a player, saying, "... His mentality is go, go, go, let me win. He drives our team. He's so fun to coach that way because his intelligence level, when you talk to him, is like talking to a coach. It really is. That's the thing that makes him special. Good enough is never good enough. He strives, pushes, challenges himself, consistently, every day and every practice because he wants to dominate his opponent."

The Seminoles have not lost a game since Winston took over at quarterback. The New Year's Day Showdown with Oregon will pit the 2013 and 2014 Heisman winners against each other when Winston and Marcus Mariota are both on the field. The two are also considered the top two quarterback prospects in the 2015 draft.
