Rex Ryan is about as lame a lame duck coach as there is in the NFL. The Jets are just 3-11, and the team hasn't made the postseason since 2010. The general consensus amongst fans and media pundits alike is that Ryan will be out of New York after six colorful seasons.

However, as is his outspoken nature, the Jets coach isn't going down without a fight. On Sunday some Jets fans were actually mad at the team for defeating the Tennessee Titans. The win moved the Jets to sixth on the NFL draft board, presumably too high to land the pair of highly-touted, Heisman winning quarterbacks, Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota.

According to Ryan, if you're looking for someone to tank the end of the season, you've found the wrong guy.

Whether Mariota and Winston are worth tanking for is debatable. Many might disagree with his opinion, especially Jets fans who've suffered through six consecutive years of Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith.

Even if the Jets do send Ryan packing, don't expect him to be out of work for very long. Numerous teams are rumored to be interested in his coaching services, such as the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins. Ryan's boisterous nature would also fetch him a pretty penny in the broadcast booth as well.
