CHICAGO CUBS vs NEW YORK METS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from WRIGLEY FIELD, CHICAGO

The New York Mets will send 24-year-old phenom pitcher Matt Harvey (4-0, 1.44 ERA) to the mound in an afternoon game at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs. The game can be live streamed for free here or for with a subscription here and better quality video. Fans of the Cubs can listen to the game at WGN 720, while the Mets fans will be listening to 101.9 WFAN FM. First pitch is scheduled for 2:20 p.m.

Harvey, the best young pitcher the Mets have trotted out since Dwight Gooden, is near the top of the leaderboard in several pitching categories. Harvey is tops in all of baseball in WHIP (0.728) and hits per nine innings (4.3). He is third in wins above replacement for pitchers (2.9), third in ERA (1.44). Despite his consistently stellar outings, it has been almost a month since Harvey earned a victory.

In eight starts, Harvey has yet to give up more than three runs and has gone seven innings or more in six of those appearances. He will hope to get some run support this time around, after the Mets offense awoke last night and snapped a six-game losing streak against one of baseball's best pitchers, Adam Wainwright.

Daniel Murphy exploded in the win, going 4-for-4 with two doubles and two runs and an RBI. The Mets will have an opportunity to stay hot, with struggling Edwin Jackson (1-5, 6.02 ERA) taking the rubber opposite Harvey for the Cubs.

Unlike the precocious Harvey, Jackson has failed to pitch more than six innings in any of his eight starts, and has only posted two quality starts in 2013. Last Saturday, Jackson got his first win of the season over the Washington Nationals after pitching 5.1 innings and giving up two runs. After finally getting a win Jackson said, It was definitely nice to get that monkey off my back. ... It felt about the same size as me."
