The WWE pulled an angle on SmackDown with Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt that could put their TLC match at WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs in question as speculation has risen that the "Lunatic Fringe" is injured.

Ambrose and Wyatt are slated to battle in a TLC match at the upcoming pay-per-view of the same name on Dec. 14 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, but the WWE has pulled an injury angle that may put a stop to the match.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, during the SmackDown tapings Tuesday night in Oklahoma City, the WWE had Wyatt attack Ambrose and he ended up being carted off on a stretcher.

The WWE only usually does angles involving someone getting carried off if a Superstar is taking time off or is really injured, but there have been no reports of Ambrose being hurt.

While it may have just been an angle to further the storyline, the WWE usually saves those types of storylines for Monday Night RAW.

Ambrose was slated to face United States Champion Rusev in a non-title match on SmackDown, but he was attacked by Wyatt on the ramp. Wyatt then furthered the beating by using a steel chair and the steel steps.

Eventually, Ambrose was carted off on a stretcher in a neck brace after being attended to by the medical staff.

There is still a good chance that the whole angle was part of the storyline, but there is at least some speculation that Ambrose was legitimately hurt and written off television even if nothing is confirmed.

Ambrose and Wyatt have been feuding ever since the "Eater of Worlds" interfered when the "Lunatic Fringe" battled Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell in October.

The issue was furthered when Ambrose attacked Wyatt with tables, ladders and chairs at Survivor Series last month, leading to a disqualification win for Wyatt and setting up this month's match.

As it stands, it is likely that the TLC match between the two will still take place, but there is some concern that the WWE may have had to write Ambrose off of television.
