UFC announced a massive, multi-year partnership with Reebok on Tuesday night. The six-year deal is expected to range somewhere in the eight figures, and will make Reebok apparel mandatory for all UFC fighters beginning in July 2015.

Undefeated women's bantamweight champ "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey was on-hand in New York City celebrating the new deal. In the process, she found time to talk to MMAFighting's Ariel Halwani on a host of topics ranging from the new Reebok deal, to her upcoming opponents, to her own personal preferred fighting apparel.

In the interview Rousey told Halwani that she hadn't just been privy to the news that UFC was entering into a contract with Reebok -- she has also been sought out as a consultant when it comes to female fighters' apparel. Why?

"Women produce an entirely unique problem for MMA clothes," Rousey said coyly. "And I've had some kind of near accidents, so I know the kind of problems that there are."

All in all, Rousey -- who actually heretofore carries relatively few sponsorships for an athlete of her marquee star power -- seemed extremely excited for the new deal, calling it "exactly what I've been waiting for."

She also made it clear that the deal was a benefit to everyone in UFC, not just title contenders, saying: "The younger fighters that are coming up right out of the gate, [now] they have a secure sponsor."

In addition to the new Reebok deal, Halwani also questioned Rousey with regard to her upcoming opponents.

"Cat's coming to bring it," Rousey said, acknowledging her UFC 184 adversary Cat Zingano. As for Bethe Correia, who threatened to "knock the mole" off Rousey's face in a future bout, Rousey was confident in her own odds.

"One day she will get her wish of getting to fight me, and she's gonna be very disappointed with the result," she said.

In addition to her lengthy Q&A with MMAFighting, Rousey somehow also found time to strike a pose with superstar rapper Swizz Beatz. And, as her upcoming opponents no doubt noticed, she made sure to include her title belt in the snapshot.
