On Sunday, Dec. 14 it will be one of the most dangerous nights of the year as the WWE presents TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2014 live from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

Vince McMahon Addresses The CM Punk Situation

In one of the main bouts on that fateful Sunday night, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt will go head-to-head in the 17th Tables, Ladders and Chairs match in company history.

Through the years, the stipulation has welcomed some memorable moments, barbaric battles, and heart-stopping moments. Sports World News will count down the Top 5 TLC matches of all-time.

Brock Lesnar Pulled From Upcoming Monday Night RAW

5) Ryback and Team Hell No vs. The Shield: This bout took place at TLC 2012 and was a show-stealer with some innovative spots and enough action between all six men to keep things fresh.

Some of the great spots included Ryback tossing Seth Rollins from the top of a ladder through tables that were set up down below at the entrance way. Bryan, Rollins and Dean Ambrose were able to do the high-flying spots while the bigger guys like Roman Reigns, Ryback and Kane also added an interesting element to the bout. In the end, The Shield stood tall and left the first-ever WWE pay-per-view in Brooklyn victorious.

4) TLC III-Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho vs. Edge and Christian vs. The Hardy Boys vs. The Dudley Boys: Possibly the best part of this match was that it was given away for free on television as it aired on SmackDown in May 2001 from Anaheim, Calif.

Reigning Tag Team Champions Benoit and Jericho were tossed in with the original TLC specialists as the Dudleys loved crashing people through tables, the high-flying Hardys lived for ladders and the maniacal Edge and Christian were chair-wielding maniacs. The match itself was amazing as all eight guys got their spots in and it wasn't overly clustered. In the end, the resilient Tag Team Champions stood tall as Jericho held Edge in the Wall of Jericho atop the ladder while Benoit grabbed the belts to give his team a win and close out one of the best SmackDown matches ever.

3) John Cena vs. Edge: These two had a memorable long-term feud -- which is rare these days in professional wrestling -- and one of the finer matches in their rivalry took place at Unforgiven in 2006.

That night in Canada, Edge put his WWE Championship on the line against John Cena in a TLC match in the Rated 'R' Superstar's hometown of Toronto. The match was a nice story as Edge topped Cena in his hometown of Boston to win the WWE Championship at SummerSlam in August, setting up the stage for Cena to gain revenge in Edge's hometown of Toronto. Cena pulled off the win and one of the most memorable spots by hitting an Attitude Adjustment off of a ladder through two stacked tables on Edge and took home the victory.

2) Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk: SummerSlam 2009 closed out in terrific fashion as the high-flying Jeff Hardy and hard-working CM Punk went head-to-head in the main event in a TLC Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. The match told a sound story as Hardy tried every high-risk move he had in his arsenal to put Punk away, but the newly-turned heel "Best in the World" was on his game and ready to thwart him off at every turn. In the end, Punk put Hardy away to win back the gold for the third time.

1) Edge and Christian vs. The Dudley Boys vs. The Hardy Boys: It's hard to pick which one is better between the original at SummerSlam 2000 and the second encounter at WrestleMania X-7, but either way all six of these men had some great chemistry in these matches and brought a lot to the table. Both bouts had classic spots that would set the bar for the bout to get over with the crowd and eventually get its own pay-per-view with each man putting their bodies at risk for the pop of the crowd. At the end of both bouts, it was Edge and Christian walking out on top as the WWE Tag Team Champions, but it was clear to the crowd that all six of these men deserved all the accolades in the world.

The WWE presents TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs on Dec. 14 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland and if one thing is certain, more great memories will be made for the WWE Universe.
