There is some talk in the WWE about doing a Ryback vs. Triple H match sometime in early 2015, possibly at January's Royal Rumble.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, officials have discussed putting on a bout between Ryback and Triple H and there has been speculation that the WWE is building toward an encounter between the two after their recent run-ins with each other on television.

Per the report, there have been recent talks about having the match at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, but there have also been reports that Ryback's recent RAW match with Cesaro may have soured the company on doing a match between him and Triple H.

Ryback drew the ire of "The Game" on television by joining Team Cena at the Survivor Series for last Sunday's match against Team Authority at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, which could have been part of the slow build to a match between the two.

Now, it's unknown if the WWE will pull the trigger on the bout as Ryback may have fallen out of favor backstage. CM Punk recently ripped on Ryback on Colt Cabana's podcast when he said that wrestling "The Big Guy" took 20 years off of his life and called him a "steroid guy."

There has been a lot of buzz that Triple H may take on Steve "Sting" Borden at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 in Santa Clara, Calif., but nothing has been confirmed. It is widely possible that Sting will face The Undertaker at the Show of Shows, should the "Deadman" decide to come back.

The only other match officially planned for January's Royal Rumble is the Rumble Match itself while there have been rumors that John Cena and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will clash as well.

There is a lot of time until the Royal Rumble, but it appears as though a Ryback vs. Triple H match was at least discussed recently.
