Injured WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan recently discussed several topics including Sting's WWE debut, the Survivor Series, his return from injury and more.
WWE SmackDown Spoilers For This Friday Night
Bryan sat down with Michael Cole for a special interview and one of the topics he discussed was being general manager of Monday Night RAW this past week after The Authority lost their power.
"They've been persecuting me and the rest of the WWE roster since SummerSlam of last year," Bryan said of The Authority. "As a performer, sometimes that's brutal because you're working so hard and seeing yourself progress and you're like, 'Okay, I'm getting close, I'm getting close, I'm getting close' and then constantly having the rug pulled out from under you and that's a brutal feeling. So it was fun to go out there. It's always fun for me to go out there in front of the crowd. Gosh, I've missed that, it's just that burning thing in your heart. And then to be able to just rub it in their face, you don't get to do that very much."

Bryan also touched on the Survivor Series on Sunday which saw Dolph Ziggler overcome 3-on-1 odds to defeat Team Authority for Team Cena and put Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of power.
"I was just rooting for him. There's a bond that you have with certain performers because you relate to what they're going through. I relate very heavily to what Dolph Ziggler goes through. To me, he is one of the best performers in WWE and he goes out there and works his heart out every single night and goes out there and steals the show like he says almost every single night. And you root for people like that, who are underdogs, who are facing three men -- all of whom were bigger than him -- and keeps pulling it out. So I was watching it and just thinking, 'Come on Dolph, you can do it'...and he did it."
Bryan also addressed shocking conclusion to the Survivor Series that saw Sting come in and get into a physical altercation with Triple H in his WWE debut.
"I have been a wrestling fan for a very long time, I love wrestling and it's this weird crossing of worlds where Sting is in the WWE, in a WWE ring," he said, "and it just gets you excited. It's something everybody could feel. You could feel it through the screen. I'm sure [for the] people in the arena, it was an unbelievable feeling to be there live...Everybody could feel that emotion and feel how special it was. It was awesome."
Lastly, Bryan, who also talked about his appearance on this Friday night's edition of SmackDown, discussed his recovery from injury as he underwent neck surgery in May and since has had some problems with strength in his arm.
"Well, things are going really well right now," he said. "I'm feeling good -- it's not really actually a feel issue, it's recovering the strength in my right arm...I'm in the process of trying to get that strength back. When I'll be back, I don't know unfortunately. I wish I could tell you I'd be back on Monday. I wish I could tell you that I'm gonna be there for the Royal Rumble. I wish and pray that I'd be able to tell you right now that I'll be there for WrestleMania because I went to Levi's Stadium for the on-sale party and that place is gonna be magic, it's gonna be awesome. But I can't do that, there is no timetable for my return right now."
