Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night for the episode of SmackDown that is set to air Friday from Fort Wayne, Ind. as the WWE counts down to TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on Dec. 14.

Daniel Bryan was the general manager once again for this week's SmackDown, and in the main event, Dolph Ziggler defeated Luke Harper by count out in a match for the Intercontinental Championship. Harper tried to attack Ziggler after the bout, but he was hit with the ZigZag to end the show.
Big Show kicked off the episode by appearing on MizTV, but he was interrupted by Bryan, who announced the main event and that Rusev would defend his belt in a battle royal.

Rusev retained the United States Championship in a 20-man battle royal against the rest of the roster. Rusev was placed in the match for not saying the pledge of allegiance on RAW, but he successfully retained his title.
In other action, Ryback def. Seth Rollins via disqualification after Kane interfered and beat on Ryback with a steel chair. Bryan then announced a Chairs Match between Kane and Ryback for TLC.
In a backstage segment, Bray Wyatt cut a promo on Dean Ambrose to continue their feud.
Elsewhere on the show, A New Day made their debut as Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeated Curtis Axel, Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil in a six-man tag team match.
In Divas action, Nikki Bella defeated Emma and then cut a promo. AJ Lee interrupted and attacked Nikki and Brie Bella after bout.
This episode of SmackDown hashed through the fall out of Sunday's Survivor Series and continued to build toward TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
