A week after Ronda Rousey unloaded on UFC rival Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino, she was significantly more complimentary of two of her other fellow fighters.

Ronda Rousey Has Fighting Words For Cyborg

Speaking in an on-camera interview with AXS TV, Rousey had nothing but nice things to say about both Cat Zingano and Holly Holm. Zingano and Rousey are set to face off at UFC 184 in Los Angeles on February 28.

"I think Cat has the most heart of anyone I've fought before," Rousey said. “She’s the one person who, in a lot of her fights, it hasn’t gone perfectly her way, and she’s always weathered it and came back.”

Was Jon "Bones" Jones Checking Out Ronda Rousey?

Later on, AXS TV's Ron Kruck asked Rousey whom she might be interested in fighting with following her highly-touted showdown with Zingano. After dismissing options like Gina Carano and Cyborg, Rousey settled on Holm, calling her "a world champion boxer who is undefeated and has very many knockouts under her belt and I think is an extremely worthy opponent."

After an illustrious boxing career, Holm was originally slated to make her UFC debut in December against Raquel Pennington, but had to withdraw due to a herniated disc in her neck. Rousey's praise of both her and Zingano is noteworthy not just because it comes on the heels of her verbal dressing-down of Justino, but because her remarks don't seem to be empty or strategic bromides. There's real respect and admiration in them.

How that then translates to the octagon on February 28 will be interesting to see.
