Survivor Series 2014 Rumors: Sting Appearing At WWE PPV Sunday Night? [VIDEO]

There are multiple reports that Sting "Steve" Borden will make his WWE debut this Sunday night at the Survivor Series live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

PWInsider reports that multiple sources are expecting Sting to debut Sunday night by appearing sometime during the Survivor Series.

Per the report, Sting is only scheduled for the pay-per-view and is unlikely to make another appearance at the WWE television tapings this week.

It's unknown how the former WCW and TNA icon will factor into the event, but he could make an appearance during the Team Authority vs. Team Cena match.

Team Authority consists of captain John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, The Big Show, Ryback and Erick Rowan while Team Authority is captained by Seth Rollins and also includes Corporate Kane, Mark Henry, United States Champion Rusev and Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper.

Sting, who has never wrestled for the WWE despite many close calls and has recently signed a contract similar to a legends deal with the organization, is rumored to compete at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

There have been rumors that Sting will wrestle his first match in the WWE - and likely the last of his career -- at the Show of Shows along with speculation that he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on the eve of the biggest event of the year.

Sting has long been rumored to face The Undertaker over the years, but that may not happen now that 'Taker lost The Streak last April to current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and was injured during the bout in New Orleans.

Sting has been open about wanting to compete in one more match at WrestleMania 31 and has even said Triple H could be another possible opponent.

It appears as though the waiting is over for the WWE Universe and Sting will appear at the Survivor Series Sunday night.
