Accusing Oscar Pistorius of viewing her daughter only as a "trophy," June Steenkamp continued her mission to be the voice she felt her daughter didn't have on the night she was killed.

The elder Steenkamp conducted another interview to promote her book, "Reeva: A Mother's Story," this time with BBC 5 Radio Live. She continued to wrestle publicly with the relationship between her late daughter and the double-amputee Olympic sprinter, according to Yahoo!.

Author of Pistorius book still can't decide whether he believes Pistorius' defense

Pistorius shot and killed Reeva Steenkamp in the early morning hours of Valentine's Day in 2013, alleging that he thought she was an intruder.

He is serving a five-year prison sentence in Pretoria, South Africa on a culpable homicide charge, but will be available for house arrest after 10 months.

The heartbroken mother does not believe that Pistorius ever loved her daughter, saying, "No, I think she was just a trophy."

June Steenkamp intimated that her daughter's relationship with Pistorius was volatile in nature from the beginning, saying that the couple "argued all the time," which she felt was strange for a new relationship.

"That was a slight warning but I didn't know," June said. "She kind of hid it from us in the beginning."

The mother than repeated an earlier claim that she didn't believe Reeva and Pistorius had been intimate.

"I just felt that I don't think so...I don't know. I don't understand their relationship at all."

That sentiment seems to be one of the major issues still haunting June and her husband, Barry. The other issue is trying to find out the truth about the night of her death.

"Nothing except her being here will help," Mrs. Steenkamp said. "I feel very angry when I think what he did to her - a wonderful person - and just shot her like that.

"Something went wrong - we will never know unless he (Pistorius) decides to talk about it. ... Why her? Why didn't he just let her go?"
