There has been a lot of speculation that WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan and former WCW and TNA icon Steve "Sting" Borden will compete at WrestleMania 31, but nothing is set in stone due to the WWE's policy on talents passing physicals.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that the decision will largely depend on whether or not Hogan and Sting can pass the necessary tests to compete at the Show of Shows.

Hogan has been training really hard for a comeback at WrestleMania 31, but it all depends on if he can get through the WWE's tests. Sting has openly said he wants to wrestle one final match - and his first in the WWE - at the WWE's biggest event of 2015.

The company has a policy that everyone who is over 45 years of age will have to pass a strict physical in order to compete at the big event.

WWE has implemented strict physicals for older talents ever since announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler suffered a heart attack during a live Monday Night RAW telecast.

Hogan recently turned 61 while Sting will be 55 by the time WrestleMania 31 airs live from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on March 29, 2015.

Sting has said he wants to work with The Undertaker and that he hopes that the two could clash at WrestleMania 31.

The Sting vs. Undertaker match has been rumored and talked about for years, and it was believed to be a possibility for WrestleMania XXX this past April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, but the WWE opted to go with a Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker encounter instead.

'Taker ended up getting injured during the match and the WWE opted to end The Streak by having him pinned to the mat at WrestleMania for the first time in his career. 'Taker also received a concussion during the bout.

With 'Taker (21-1) having lost The Streak and getting injured, his future with the WWE is up in the air and he may not return to the company, though Sting said he doesn't care that The Streak isn't at stake.

Sting also listed Triple H as a possible opponent in an interview, though there are rumors that "The Game" will take on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the event.

Hogan has reportedly been campaigning for months to wrestle John Cena in an Icon vs. Icon match pitting the past face of the WWE against the present one.

Cena has been rumored to be penciled in to face Rusev at WrestleMania 31, so odds are if Hogan does pass the physicals, he will do battle with someone else.

There have been talks of having Sting and Hogan both have retirement matches at the event, but it all depends on if they're deemed fit enough to wrestle.

WrestleMania 31 could feature the return of two icons in Sting and Hogan if everything goes right.
