The Undertaker's status for WrestleMania 31 is up in the air, but if the "Deadman" decides to return to the ring, there are many intriguing options for different opponents to battle 'Taker at the Show of Shows in 2015.

The Undertaker lost to Brock Lesnar in a match that ended The Streak at WrestleMania XXX this past April at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. 'Taker was also hurt in the match and with The Streak ending and the injury occurring, 'Taker's status for WrestleMania 31 remains unclear.

Still, if The Undertaker opts to return for WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., there are many potential matches the WWE could choose to thrust the future Hall of Famer into.

Here are three possible opponents for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31:

1) Sting: This has been a long-rumored match for many years and now that Steve "Sting" Borden is an official part of the WWE, it is even closer to coming to fruition. This match has been talked about for years as the WWE's phenom would take on the former WCW icon Sting in a battle of two sports entertainment legends. Sting has openly said he wants one last match -- and his first in WWE -- at WrestleMania 31 and that he'd like The Undertaker to be his opponent even if The Streak is no longer active. If The Undertaker chooses to come out of retirement, this is the match that is most likely to occur at the biggest WWE event of 2015. Sports World News tackled five possible opponents for Sting in an earlier article.

2) Bray Wyatt: The only person in the current crop of WWE wrestlers whose character can match the presence of The Undertaker's powerful character is Wyatt. These two could engage in a fantastic feud as The Undertaker can bring an eeriness that can only be countered by the creepiness of Wyatt. These two could have a lot of fun in the buildup to the match, trying to out-do each other from a psychological standpoint leading to a bout of the ages at WrestleMania 31 in California.

3) John Cena: The Undertaker has battled a who's who of sports entertainment figures at WrestleMania, including Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Kevin Nash (Diesel), Kane, Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Batista, Edge, Shawn Michaels, CM Punk and Lesnar, but never the face of the WWE in Cena. There have always been murmurs that the two may cross paths and there was even some speculation that Cena would get the honor of ending The Streak. With Cena ending The Streak now being impossible, an Undertaker vs. Cena match won't give the Cena-haters a heart attack at the thought of the "Cenation" leader being the man to end 'Takers legendary unbeaten streak. Also as a bonus for the haters, a Cena vs. Undertaker match would guarantee that Cena wouldn't be in the mix for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Show of Shows. Cena is rumored to face Rusev at WrestleMania 31, so this match remains a long-shot. The WWE could also build it up as Cena wanting to face Undertaker under the bright lights of WrestleMania as another career milestone.

The Undertaker is 21-1 at WrestleMania in his career, but should he decide to return for a 23rd match, these three Superstars make for great opponents.
