The lengths at which people are going to protect Jameis Winston have reached a new level.

Gamedayr.com is reporting that the lawyer representing the Florida State quarterback and reigning Heisman Trophy winner tweeted the name of Winston's accuser in his sexual assault hearing that the school will conduct.

Attorney David Cornwell reiterated a previous message saying that Winston's accuser was allowed 20 months to file a complaint and that the school is giving the quarterback 13 days to files a response to the 1,000-page document.

In the tweet, which has been up for eight hours and has not yet been deleted, Cornwell uses the victim's last name. He included a photo of the investigation report that included her first name.

Jameis Winston's father says Winston will stay at Florida State until he graduates

Florida State football coach Jimbo Fisher has vouched for Winston's character on numerous occasions and has attacked the media for continuing to question him about Winston's various transgressions - the alleged sexual assault, allegations of signing autographs for money, screaming inappropriate language on campus, for example.

Seminoles baseball coach Mike Martin suspended Winston for four days from the team after his infamous citation for taking crab legs from a grocery store without paying for them. Winston had to complete 20 hours of community service before he could rejoin the team, which he did in the four days.

Fisher then said that Winston had been punished enough and would not take any action against the player on the football side of his FSU athletic career.

USA TODAY Sports reported that the Florida State disciplinary hearing concerning the alleged sexual assault and whether Winston violated the school's conduct code will take place the week of Nov. 17.

"We have been advised by Florida State that the hearing on Mr. Winston's code of conduct violations for sexual assault will be held the week of the 17th of November," said John Clune, a Title IX attorney for the woman, to USA TODAY Sports. "We have advised the school that we are available and will be ready to proceed."

So too, it seems, will Winston's lawyers, who may have already begun his defense with Cornwell's tweets.
