Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles has a broken collarbone and he may be set to miss the rest of the season.
Foles broke the bone when he was sacked by Texans linebacker Whitney Mercilus on the last play of the first quarter and he left for the locker room. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered the same injury last season and missed a total of seven weeks before returning to Green Bay to lead a playoff run.

Backup Mark Sanchez relieved Foles and led the Eagles to a 31-21 win over the Houston Texans and the former Jet preformed well off the bench. He finished 15 of 22 passing for 202 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, one of which hit the receiver in the hands and was mishandled.
Coach Chip Kelly spoke about Sanchez being the starter going forward and said the team has faith that he can preform.
"I thought Mark did a really good job," Kelly said. "The one interception -- I think it hit wide receiver Josh Huff in the hands and was tipped. The other one, I think [Cooper] got spun around. Besides that, I thought he had a really good command of what we're doing.
"Since day one here, you know what type of professional [Sanchez] is. ... We were fortunate when Nick did go down, we were able to bring Mark in. I don't think we missed a beat.”
Sanchez can be considered a solid replacement for roles in fantasy football, but expectations must be kept in check. Sanchez scored 12 points in ESPN standard scoring in three quarters of football. Sanchez should be seen as a solid backup and in the third tier of fantasy quarterbacks.
