No. 17 Utah Utes (6-1, 3-1 Pac-12)
No. 14 Arizona State Sun Devils (-6.5) (6-1, 4-1 Pac-12)

The No. 17 Utah Utes travel to Arizona to play the No. 14 Arizona State Sun Devils in a Pac-12 elimination game and the winner will be one of the last one-loss teams standing in the conference.

These two teams sit in the middle of the pack when it comes to rankings, but if they continue to play at the level they have this season, they could see their fortunes change very soon. Both of these teams have a solid track record to this point, but the winner will enter into the conversation with No. Oregon and No. 12 Arizona if they can defeat No. 22 UCLA this weekend.

Arizona State coach Todd Graham spoke about the differences from this Utah team as opposed to last years unit.

"The biggest difference in their team this year is their running back," Graham said. "He is very physical, I don't know him but I like him. He makes you tackle him, he runs hard, and you can tell their line has a belief in him, and it's a team that understands you need to run the football to win.”

The Pac-12 has a legitimate chance to get a team into the College Football Playoff, but at the end of the day a two-loss team will not make it into the final four and only a handful of those teams remain in the Pac-12.

Arizona State leads the all-time series against Utah 19-6 and the Sun Devils are currently riding a series-long 10-game win streak against the Utes.
