No. 9 Kansas State Wildcats (-11) (6-1, 4-0 Big 12)

The No. 9 Kansas State Wildcats face off against the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a matchup that could shape the way the Big 12 goes the rest of the season.

Oklahoma State believes the only way to stop this Kansas state attack is to shut down dual-threat quarterback Jake Waters.

"He ... has the run-pass option about every play and the one time your eyes are wrong, he is going to get you," defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer said. "It's option football. It's just a different way to run it. Sometimes he has the ball in his hand as the runner, as opposed to the option when he is pitching it backwards. He's running it and has the option to pitch it forward and throw the ball.”

Waters has put together 1,655 yards and nine touchdowns through the air and another 370 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. Oklahoma State could find themselves back in the good graces of both the AP Poll and the College Football Selection Committee with a win, but a loss would put a stamp on a season that ha already exceeded expectations.

Oklahoma State leads the all-time series against Kansas State 37-23 and the Cowboys have taken four of the last five from the Wildcats.
