The No. 7 TCU Horned Frogs and No. 20 West Virginia Mountaineers square off in the first matchup of ranked opponents of Week 10.

TCU coach Gary Patterson spoke about the matchup but first stressed that the goal this season was to be bowl eligible and they have succeeded in that goal.

"We wanted to get to be bowl eligible, we got to that point. Now everyone counts once," Patterson said. "Two tough games in a row. West Virginia going to Morgantown, really they're playing really well right now on both sides of the ball, and then Kansas State. You can say the same about them.”

The Horned Frogs have the the best offense in the country and are putting together 50.4 points per contacts this season. West Virginia has given up an average 25 points per game, but that could change when these two meet. The Mountaineers are ranked for the second straight week and will look to knock off the best team they will play this season.

West Virginia leads the all-time series against TCU 2-1, but the two teams have split the last two matchups in the last two seasons.
