New York Jets Rumors: Chris Johnson Voices Frustration With Jets; Fantasy Stock at All-Time Low? [VIDEO]

The New York Jets are at the bottom of the barrel at 1-7 and now one of their high-profile free agent signings is voicing his frustrations to the New York media.

Running back Chris Johnson spoke to the New York Post and vented his frustrations with the way the team is handling him in the offense. Johnson hasn't been vocal to this point as he was seen as a vocal distraction during his time with the Tennessee Titans.

“I don’t want to be a distraction in the locker room,” Johnson said. “This situation, I’m pretty sure just like I see it, everybody else sees it. I don’t want to be labeled as one of those guys who start controversy or start problems. I just continue to pray about the situation and continue to take advantage when I get opportunities and see what comes of it.”

Johnson has only been on the field for 34 percent of the Jets total offensive snaps this season and only played in a season-low 19 percent in New York’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. The newly acquired Percy Harvin received more carries than Johnson on Sunday even though they do not play the same position.

Johnson has rushed for 268 yards and one touchdown on 67 carries and has added only 14 catches out of the backfield for 72 yards. The Titans released Johnson late in the offseason after he refused to restructure his contract with the team. Johnson is the No. 44 ranked running back in fantasy football for Week 10 and No. 41 for the rest of the season according to Fantasy Pros consensus rankings.

Chris Ivory remains the starter in New York and is the only running back that can be relied upon from a fantasy football standpoint.
