Minnesota has won two of its last three but is coming off of a disheartening loss Monday night while Boston has notched victories in three of its last four matches.

The Wild blew 3-0 and 4-2 third period leads against the New York Rangers Monday night at Madison Square Garden en route to a 5-4 loss in regulation and the team will look to recover in its second game in as many nights.

Minnesota received goals from two of its top three leading scorers as Jason Pominville (3-3--6) lit the lamp and Jason Zucker (5-0--5) continued his torrid start to the season with another goal. Entering Tuesday, Zach Parise leads the Wild with seven points off of three goals and four assists.

The Bruins are coming in off of a 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday at the Air Canada Centre in a game that saw Dougie Hamilton tie a career-high with three points.

Hamilton is playing in an increased role on the Boston blue line with Zdeno Chara (knee) on the sidelines.

"Yeah, I think it's more comfortable obviously everywhere," Hamilton told NHL.com about how the Bruins feel after a rocky start. "I think around this city, around the team, in the room and then on the ice as well, I think that as you get older and better the game slows down a bit. So I think I felt that a little bit. So just trying to play with confidence and try to make plays and keep playing hard."

David Krejci leads the Bruins with eight points off of three goals and five assists while Carl Soderberg (three markers, four helpers) and Chris Kelly (two goals, five assists) each have seven points.

In net, Boston is expected to turn to Tuukka Rask, who is 4-3-0 with a 2.63 goals-against average and .897 save percentage this season. With the team playing a back-to-back, Minnesota will likely suit up Niklas Backstrom in the crease, who dropped his only start of the season and has yielded two goals on 16 shots.

The Wild look to bounce back from a rough game Monday night while Boston hopes to notch its second straight victory when the puck drops on these two teams at the TD Garden tonight in Boston.
