Tonight at 7 p.m. ET, the Minnesota Wild (4-2-0, eight points) and New York Rangers (4-4-0, eight points) face-off for the first of two meetings against each other this season live from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The game can be live streamed here. Minnesota fans can hear all of the action on KFAN 100.3 while New York fans can do the same on 98.7 WEPN.

Minnesota kicks off a back-to-back brief two-game road trip in search of its third straight victory while New York starts a four-game homestand after having a three-game winning streak snapped last time out.

The Wild are coming off of a 7-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning and are averaging 3.17 goals per game thus far this season to rank sixth in the NHL.

Jason Zucker scored two goals against the Lightning and leads Minnesota with four tallies thus far this season. Zack Parise leads the team with seven points off of three markers and four assists while Jared Spurgeon and Jason Pominville have each found the back of the net twice and added three assists for five points.

Wild coach Mike Yeo sang the praises of Zucker after the team's triumph over Tampa Bay.

"I'm real pleased with how he's coming along," Yeo told Fox Sports. "The second goal is a good indication on that. We're using him at least one rotation of every penalty kill right now and he's earning that. I'm real happy for him."

The Rangers are coming off of a 3-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens on the road Saturday and will look to bounce back from an inconsistent effort.

Carl Hagelin notched the only goal for New York Saturday and the team has been paced by Rick Nash, who has eight goals and an assist for nine points. Chris Kreider (two tallies, four helpers) and Martin St. Louis (one marker, five assists) each have six points.

Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault was not happy with his team's effort at Bell Centre Saturday night.

"They were the better team in front of both nets," Vigneault said of the Canadiens via The New York Daily News. "They won two battles in front of ours that ended up in the back of our net, and we couldn't get to any second opportunities in front of their net."

The Rangers will likely turn to Henrik Lundqvist in the crease tonight and he is 4-3-0 with a 3.14 goals-against average and .895 save percentage this season. The Wild are likely to counter with Darcy Kuemper, who is 4-1-0 with a 0.81 GAA and a .966 save percentage.

New York and Minnesota split both meetings last season, with each notching a victory on home ice.

The Wild look for their third straight victory while the Rangers hope to bounce back from a tough game Saturday night when the puck drops on these two teams live from Madison Square Garden tonight in New York City.
