No. 11 Kansas State Wildcats (-9.5) (5-1, 3-0 Big 12)

The No. 11 Kansas State Cougars have a huge matchup with the No. 10 TCU Horned Frogs on November 8, but first they have to avoid the upset against a dangerous Texas Longhorns team.

While Kansas State finds themselves in the heat of a Big 12 title race, coach Bill Snyder is one win away for 500 for his career. Snyder would not talk about the potential milestone, but Texas coach Charlie Strong said he has the utmost respect for the long time Kansas State coach.

"Coach Snyder, I've always had a tremendous respect for him," Strong said. "When I took over the program at Louisville I called him, because that's the type of program I wanted to run. I wanted to run Louisville just like it's being done at Kansas State.”

The Wildcats would be wise to cherish this matchup with the Longhorns as the road gets brutal for Kansas State. They will face No. 10 TCU on November 9, No. 22 West Virginia on November 20 and No. 12 Baylor on December 6.

Kansas State leads the all-time series against Texas 8-6 and the Wildcats have won five of the last six against the Longhorns. Texas topped this Kansas State team 31-21 in 2013.
