The No. 6 Oregon Ducks look for another Pac-12 win against the California Golden Bears on Friday Night Football in Week 9.

Oregon is very much alive when it comes to the Pac-12 as well as the College Football Playoff. When asked what it will take to finish the season out strong, coach Mike Helfrich said he would like to stick to a running back by committee approach.

"We need the committee," Helfrich said. "For us, that committee's good. But there are going to be things that happen in games, whether it's game-plan related, readiness related, guys are going to have to carry the load differently.”

Cal is coming off a hard fought 36-34 loss to UCLA and could have put themselves in a much better place when it comes to the Pac-12. Coach Sonny Dykes said the only thing you can do is put the loss behind you and get better from your defeats.

"It was a tough game and a tough way to lose down the stretch," coach Sonny Dykes said. "There are some things we have to get better at as we move forward. It is a tough way to lose. We have got to give our guys credit for putting ourselves in a position to win it. We just came up a little bit short down the stretch.”

California leads the all-time series against Oregon 40-35-2, but the Ducks have taken the last five from the Golden Bears. Oregon topped the Golden Bears 55-16 in 2013.
