Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne missed practice again Wednesday with an elbow injury and his status for the team's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is in doubt.
According to multiple media report, Wayne underwent an MRI on the elbow earlier this week and is considered 'day-to-day' by coach Chuck Pagano. Early reports from local news outlets had declared Wayne is out 'one to two weeks' but the Colts have yet to confirm any reports.

“A source with knowledge of the situation said that while the injury to Wayne’s left elbow doesn’t appear to be serious, it could force him to miss a game or two.
“I’m good now,” Wayne said. “I just kind of fell on it, fell on my arm.
“Go home, have an adult beverage and see how it feels in the morning.”
It is unknown when Wayne suffered the elbow injury or if it hindered his abilities on Sunday, but he did have a quiet game by his standards. Wayne registered only four catches for 15 yards and dropped a pair of passes in the Colts 27-0 win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Colts take on the Steelers this Sunday at 4:25 p.m. as both teams look to move one step closer to a post season birth. Wayne had started in 189 consecutive games before tearing his ACL last October and if he misses the game this weekend his new streak will end at seven-straight starts.
I've been told #colts Reggie Wayne's elbow injury isn't too serious, but good chance he misses a game or two. @rtv6
