Tonight at 7 p.m. ET, the New York Islanders (4-2-0, eight points) and Boston Bruins (4-4-0, eight points) face-off live from the TD Garden in Boston for the first of three meetings this season. The game can be live streamed here. New York fans can hear all of the action on WRHU 88.7 while Boston fans can do the same on WBZ 1030.

New York is looking to halt a two-game skid after winning four straight to start the season while Boston has had an uneven start to the campaign but is hoping to notch its third straight victory. The Islanders took two of three from the Bruins last season.

The Islanders may have defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky back in the lineup and are looking to bounce back from a rough 5-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs last time out.

Blue liner Nick Leddy and captain John Tavares each scored in the loss, but there could be some changes coming tonight after the team's rough second period last game.

"I think we're going to have to make some tweaks eventually if we don't start scoring some goals even strength," coach Jack Capuano told The New York Daily News. "We'll start with lines and then maybe tweak a few things personnel-wise. Right now we have to just get back to business."

Tavares has led New York with 10 points off of three goals and seven assists while Brock Nelson (four tallies, four helpers) and Kyle Okposo (two markers, six assists) each has eight points.

The Bruins rallied with three third period goals to overcome the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday by a 5-3 margin in a game that saw Seth Griffith notch his first-career NHL goal. Griffith has been playing between stalwarts David Krejci and Milan Lucic.

"We're starting to gain a little chemistry going so that's good to see," Griffith said Tuesday, according to Boston.com. "But, you know, it's not too hard playing with two great players."

Krejci (two goals, four assists) is tied with Chris Kelly (one goal, five helpers) for the Bruins lead with six points.

In net, Boston is likely to go with Tuukka Rask, who is 3-3-0 with a 2.91 goals-against average and a .880 save percentage thus far while New York announced that backup Chad Johnson will man the crease after yielding three goals on 29 shots in a victory in his only outing of the season.

The Islanders look to avoid a three-game skid while Boston hopes for its third straight triumph when the puck drops tonight at the TD Garden in Boston.
