It's hard to argue with the success Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in his two-plus years in the NFL. Percy Harvin did, and now he's a New York Jet.

But did the Seahawks get rid of the problem ... or the solution?

Russell Wilson and Lolo Jones an item? ESPYs show the two getting cozy

That is the question that arises as a result of an article from Bleacher Report that depicts the Seahawks star quarterback as a divisive locker room presence according to others, anonymously, also in that locker room.

According to Bleacher Report, "one Seahawks player said the biggest reason the team traded the wide receiver was his increasing animosity toward Wilson. The player said Harvin was an accelerant in a locker room that was quickly dividing between Wilson and anti-Wilson.

Russell Wilson labeled as a mediocre quarterback?

"Again, people will deny this, but there's truth to it."

The report pinpoints evidence inside the locker room about the Wilson's supposed shortcomings before sliding this grenade to the story.

"There is also an element of race that needs to be discussed. My feeling on this-and it's backed up by several interviews with Seahawks players-is that some of the black players think Wilson isn't black enough.

"... And this, again, will be denied by Seattle people. But there is an element of this.

"This is an issue that extends outside of football, into African-American society-though it's gotten better recently. Well-spoken blacks are seen by some other blacks as not completely black. Some of this is at play."

The underlying issue, the article goes on to say is that Wilson is too close to front office personnel, which apparently has given him reign of the team, and that he doesn't take blame for his mistakes.

For one, there haven't been all that many mistakes, considering the fact that he took the team to the Super Bowl in his second season, after making just one mistake his rookie season - leaving 31 seconds left on the clock for the Atlanta Falcons to kick a game-winning field goal in the NFC Divisional Playoffs in 2012.

Secondly, Richard Sherman seemingly has thrived from the Seahawks' rise to power, and he has yet to be accused of not being black enough.
