Randy Orton was reportedly injured during the main event of this week's Monday Night RAW ahead of his cell match Sunday against John Cena at Hell in a Cell in Dallas.

Relationship Between The WWE And CM Punk Said To Be Really Bad

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Orton appeared to injure himself during the handicap main event pitting "The Viper" with Seth Rollins and Kane against Cena and Dean Ambrose on Monday Night RAW.

Orton appeared to hurt himself when Ambrose dived onto all of the heels off of the top of the announce table. The fan noted they heard Orton tell the trainer he hurt himself.

Rumored Match For WWE Survivor Series On Nov. 23

"The ruptured disc in my back is fu--ed," Orton reportedly told the trainer following the spot, according to the correspondent.

Orton originally injured his back during a Falls Count Anywhere Match with Bad News Barrett on the Dec. 30, 2011, edition of SmackDown. During the match, Barrett pushed Orton down a flight of stairs and "The Viper" suffered a herniated disc as a result.

At the time, Orton opted for rehab over surgery and ended up returning to the squared circle a month later.

Orton noticeably had trouble getting in and out of the ring during the match Monday night following the spot.

It should be noted that multiple outlets have reported that he was not featured at all during Tuesday night's tapings for the SmackDown episode that is set to air this Friday night as the final build up to Hell in a Cell.

The WWE has not confirmed that any injury occurred to Orton and it should be taken merely as a rumor for now, but if he is hurt it will definitely impact Sunday's Hell in a Cell event at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Cena vs. Orton is one of two cell matches on the card -- along with Ambrose vs. Rollins -- and their match has an important stipulation as the winner will be the No. 1 contender for Brock Lesnar's WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

It remains to be seen if Orton is in fact hurt, but if the injury is serious enough it could cause for some changes to the Hell in a Cell event.
