Up to this point, the WWE hasn't punished AJ Lee at all for her marriage to departed Superstar CM Punk, but she reportedly is being kept off of Total Divas due to her being married to Punk, who quit the WWE in January.

It was reported earlier this week that Alicia Fox and Paige -- who Lee is currently feuding with -- will be added to the Total Divas cast for the new season that will be airing in January, but Lee was not announced as a new cast member.

F4WOnline.com reports that the reason Lee isn't going to be on the E! Network reality show for the new season early next year is in fact because of her being married to Punk, whose real name is Phil Brooks.

There was speculation that Lee may not have been added because she is the current WWE Divas Champion and Vince McMahon reportedly likes to keep the Divas Championship off of cast members due to the gap from when episodes are filmed compared to when they air, but most of the roster is now a member of the show.

The only Divas on the active roster that aren't a part of the show are AJ, Emma, Lana, Lilian Garcia, Eden, Renee Young and Tamina Snuka.

This could mean that McMahon has softened his stance or either the feuds over the Divas Championship will involve the few Divas not on the program or Lee will have a lengthy title run.

Punk quit the WWE in January due to his frustration over the way his character was being used as well as due to being burned out by the rigorous travel schedule the WWE has, but Lee mostly hasn't been punished despite the crowd peppering her with "CM Punk" chants when she comes out.

Punk has made many public appearances since his departure, but has not seemed to want to return to the ring anytime soon, even going as far as to tell a reporter at the AP Music Awards that he was "never ever" coming back to the squared circle.

Lee took time off from the WWE on the night after WrestleMania XXX, a night which Paige made her debut and defeated her for the Divas Championship, in order to move in with Punk and the two were married in mid-June in a private ceremony.

Lee then returned to the WWE on the June 30 edition of Monday Night RAW, but Punk has shown no signs of a return brewing.

Punk was reportedly offered a lucrative deal by TNA -- a rumor which the company disputed, but still carries weight -- and also appeared backstage at an Ohio Valley Wrestling event, but it doesn't appear as though a return to the ring for any company is imminent.

While Lee has not been punished in storylines for her relationship with Punk, it appears as though the WWE kept her off of Total Divas due to her husband's transgressions.
