Two Big 12 contenders square off as the No. 14 Kansas State Wildcats travel to play the No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners in a game that could eliminate the loser from contention.

Kansas State coach Bill Snyder spoke about the opportunity the Wildcats have to get ahead in the Big 12 and said the team needs to seize the game.

"You only have 12 or maybe 13 opportunities to play our best out of 365 days," said Snyder. ”You cannot go through and pick and choose what is important and what is not. They all count – every single one of them counts.”

Oklahoma is the only team in the Big 12 that Snyder has a losing record against at 7-12. Synder has lost eight of his 10 games against Bob Stoops, but came out of Norman with a win the last time he visited when Kansas State shocked the No. 6 Sooners 24-19 in 2012.

The Wildcats are riding a two-game win streak after losing to then-ranked No. 5 Auburn, while the Sooners topped Texas in the Red River Rivalry 31-26 after losing to then-ranked No. 25 TCU.

Oklahoma has dominated the all-time series with Kansas State 72-18-4, including a 32-game win streak against the Wildcats from 1932 to 1968.
