It has been reported that Kurt Angle turned down a full-time deal with the WWE and that the company doesn't want him to work a part-time schedule. Now, it appears Angle could be headed back to TNA for at least one more year.

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that it was Triple H's idea to pitch Angle a full-time deal and that the WWE only wants Angle if he will work a full schedule. It appears as though a part-time contract from the WWE is off the table and it could be a deal-breaker for Angle.

Reports earlier this week suggested that Angle turned down a WWE full-time pact because his body wouldn't be able to handle the amount of dates and the rigorous travel of a complete WWE schedule. Angle has just recovered from surgery and has dealt with many health and substance abuse issues in the past.

It appears as though the hopes that Angle will return to the WWE are all but dashed as the report indicates that TNA is willing to offer Angle a part-time deal and there is a feeling that he will stay with the company for at least another year. Angle got his professional wrestling start in the WWE in 1999.

Angle has reportedly been open to returning to TNA despite the fact that his contract expired and he recently said that he feels a sense of loyalty toward the company and president Dixie Carter for standing by him through all of his personal struggles.

Dave Meltzer recently said that he wasn't sure the full-time WWE pitch story was valid since he didn't think the WWE would ever really believe that Angle would actually consider signing that type of contract after all of the physical problems he's been through.

It appeared as though Angle was hoping to get a part-time deal with the WWE akin to the types of contracts WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson have had, but it appears to be a no-go.

Angle also wants a part-time schedule because he's looking to expand on his acting career, and he is actually scheduled for meetings and auditions in Los Angeles soon.

Angle, 45, is a four-time WWE Champion and five-time TNA Heavyweight Champion.

It appears almost certain that Angle will not be wrestling in the WWE for the first time since 2006.
