Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night for the episode of SmackDown that is set to air this Friday from Birmingham, Ala. as the WWE continues to build toward Hell in a Cell on Oct. 26 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

In the main event of the evening, Dean Ambrose defeated Kane by DQ after Seth Rollins got involved. Rollins and Kane then attacked Ambrose. Kane hit him with a chokeslam and Rollins went for the Curb Stomp, but ended up getting thwarted off by Ambrose, who hit Kane with a steel chair.

Rollins kicked off the show and mocked the fans and built up his match at Hell in a Cell with Ambrose. Dolph Ziggler then interrupted Rollins and dropkicked him, leading to a match.

Rollins then defeated Ziggler with a Curb Stomp in their bout and Ambrose came out afterward to cut a promo. Kane then came out and announced the main event.

In other action, Sheamus and The Usos defeated The Miz, Stardust and Goldust after Sheamus hit Goldust with a Brogue Kick while elsewhere Big Show and Mark Henry talked about Big Show's match with Rusev at Hell in a Cell and Rusev and Lana interrupted them.

In Divas action, AJ Lee defeated Layla with the Black Widow and AJ thwarted off Alicia Fox's attack until Paige knocked her down while elsewhere Nikki Bella defeated Naomi.

This episode of SmackDown continued the build toward Hell in a Cell on Oct. 26 in Dallas.
