Former adult film star Christy Mack is slowly but surely recovering from the alleged assault she suffered at the hands of her ex-boyfriend and former mixed martial artist War Machine. Mack, born Christine Mackinday, took to her Instagram to give an update on her progress.

Mackinday posted a before-and-after photo showing the surgery she had to repair her nose. She said she is finally able to breathe out of her nose again. She also revealed she is still having issues with her teeth.

The caption reads: "Sometimes half of your temp teeth decide to fall out to match the rest of your face. Thanks to Dr. Motykie for fixing the damage to my nose, and Dr. Adam Lousignont of Las Vegas for the temp tooth fix... again. Left was Monday right is today. What a difference a few days makes! I'm starting to breathe out of my nose again and today I'm going to get my glasses. One day soon I'll be going to New York to see Dr. Toscano and get my permanent teeth."

War Machine, born Jonathan Koppenhaver, is scheduled to appear in court Oct.17 for a preliminary hearing and is currently at Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas. Deadspin reported that Mackinday is expected to testify at the hearing.

Koppenhaver faces 31 felony counts, including two counts of attempted murder, and plead not guilty at his first court appearance in September. He is accused of attacking Mackinday and Corey Thomas in her Las Vegas home on Aug. 8. The alleged assault left Mackinday with multiple injuries including a lacerated liver, 18 broken bones and two missing teeth.
