The Red River Rivalry has seen better years, but that won’t stop the action as No. 11 Oklahoma looks to rebound off their first loss against their hated rivals in the Texas Longhorns.

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops was disappointed with the Sooners' loss to the then-ranked No. 25 TCU Horned Frogs, but said that the team will correct the mistakes and get back in the heat of the college footballs season.

"I believe a lot of it is easily correctable, and some of it's just discipline and fundamentals," he said. "I'm not going to detail it because then, you're calling out these young guys, and that's not the right thing to do. In the end, some of it is very fundamental in what we do, and for whatever reason, even guys with a lot of experience didn't do it very well, so we've got to do a better job coaching them and they've got to do a better job being mindful of their disciplines and what we're doing.”

Oklahoma will be out for blood coming off their first loss and Texas doesn't have the personnel needed to stop what is coming. Oklahoma should run away with this one, but this is Texas’ Super Bowl. It comes down to Texas rising their game to a point where they can pull the upset two years in a row.

Texas leads the all-time series 60-43-5 in the Red River Rivalry and even knocked off Oklahoma last season. The two teams have split the last six meetings, but the Sooners have won three of the last four matchups.
