The No. 25 Stanford Cardinal look to get back into the thick of things as they take on a struggling Washington State Cougars team in this Friday night Pac-12 matchup.
Cardinal coach David Shaw spoke about the team’s status as a two-loss team and said that the Pac-12 is not out of reach just yet.
“We see where the conference is right now. Who knows where we'll be next week? Who knows where we'll be two weeks after that? It's crazy," Shaw said. "We've been saying it since the beginning, all of us coaches felt it, we talked about it in spring -- this conference is crazy right now. Everybody's good. It's going to be a wild finish to this season. We're right in the thick of it with everybody else."
Stanford can’t catch a break as four of their last seven games are on the road as they get into the girth of their schedule. The Cardinal will face No. 20 Arizona State, No. 12 Oregon, No.24 Utah, California and No. 18 UCLA in the coming weeks and only Utah is at home.
Stanford leads the all-time series with Washington State 38-25-1 including eight of the last 10 and six straight wins.
