Stauskas was drafted eighth overall by the Kings after earning consensus All-American honors and being named the Big Ten Conference Player of the Year. An efficient scorer and a sharpshooter from three-point range, Stauskas shot 48.9 percent from the field and 45.8 percent from deep last year. He will join a Sacramento roster that features a host of young talent led by Cousins, Rudy Gay and Darren Collison.
