Bill Voth of BlackandBlueReview.com was first to report on the videos of Hardy rapping, which were posted on Memphis-based rapper Ja Alan's Instagram. The videos show Hardy at a music video shoot and replaying a song in a recording studio:

Voth points out that it sounds like Hardy may have said, "crack a b----," which would be in very poor taste since he is currently facing domestic violence charges. Hardy is awaiting a Nov. 17 jury trial where he will appeal a domestic abuse conviction from July. The Pro Bowl defensive end faces multiple charges including assault on a female and communicating threats. According to his ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder, Hardy assaulted her in at their home on May 13.

Hardy is reportedly making $800,000 a week during his time off. Following the controversy from Rice's situation, Hardy took a "voluntary leave of absence" and was placed on the Commissioner Exempt list.

Rice was released by the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the NFL after video surfaced of him punching his then-fiancée. If Hardy is found guilty in his case, it's possible he may suffer the same fate.
