No. 11 Ole Miss Rebels (4-0, 1-0 SEC)

The No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide put their undefeated record on the line against the No. 11 Ole Miss Rebels in a battle of SEC rivals vying for the top spot in the conference.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze spoke about the matchup and said that the two sides match up well and that the game will come down to who makes more plays late in the game.

"Something's got to give at some point," Freeze said. "At the end of the day it'll be about players making plays.”

The Crimson Tide are looking for their first big win of 2014 as their schedule thus far has been lacking any quality opponents. Ole Miss finds themselves in the same boat as they sit at No. 11 in the nation, yet they haven’t topped an opponent that carries any weight.

Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin will face off against his brother Chris who is the Rebels’ defensive line coach. Coach Freeze said that this game isn't about any of the coaches, just the players.

"Chris will want to win and Lane will want to win," Freeze said. "At end of the day, it's not about Lane or Chris or Nick (Saban) or Hugh. It's about these kids who will have to win the battles."

Alabama leads the all-time series with Ole Miss 47-9-2 and the Crimson Tide are currently riding a 10-game win streak against the Rebels. Ole Miss has never won back-to-back meetings against the Crimson Tide.
