The Fresno State Bulldogs and the New Mexico Lobos look to get back on track as they open up their Mountain West Conference schedule against each other.
Fresno State has been an inconsistent team this season and fans cannot be sure what team they are going to see on week to week. This Bulldog team was blown out by USC, Utah and Nebraska, but returned and blew the doors off Southern Utah 56-16. The Bulldogs will look to prove they are the latter team and improve to 2-3 on the season and 1-0 in the Mountain West.
New Mexico dropped their opening two games to UTEP and Arizona State, but responded by edging out New Mexico State 38-35. The Lobos and Bulldogs enter the game coming off wins after being winless through their first few contests.
This one will likely come down to who controls the clock better and seeing how New Mexico is home, they get the edge.
