Michigan and Minnesota open up their Big Ten slate of games as the Wolverines look to avoid total collapse in light of their upset loss to Utah last week.

Michigan coach Brady Hoke is under pressure to rebound from a loss to Utah as he could be out as the coach of the Wolverines by the end of the season. After the team dropped a home game vs. the Utes 26-10, he spoke about the frustrations of losing.

“The frustration level people may have, don't think those kids have the same frustration…But what they do have a great believe in each other. They have a great belief in the program. They come out and compete and challenge each other every day and this will be a good football team.”

Michigan has alternated wins and losses this season as they topped Appalachian State and Miami (OH), but have fallen to Notre Dame and Utah. The Gophers are looking to for 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the Big Ten as they have beaten East Illinois, Middle Tennessee and San Jose State, but fell to TCU.

Michigan dominates the all-time series with Minnesota 73-24-3 and the Wolverines have won 22 of the last 23 games against the Golden Gophers.
