Washington Huskies (4-0, 0-0 Pac-12)

No. 16 Stanford looks to get their first win in the Pac-12 while Washington looks to stay unbeaten as these rivals square off in Seattle.

Washington will get their first test under new coach Chris Petersen and at 4-0 the former Boise State coach just hopes it was enough to prepare the team for the Cardinal.

"I don't know if we're ready for it or not, but we've got four games, some good experience and this whole thing is a work in progress and I really mean that," coach Chris Petersen said. "This is going to be a completely new challenge to us that we haven't seen in the first four games and we're well aware of that. We have to step our game up. We have to play at a level we haven't played at yet to compete with these guys.

"Hopefully, those first four games helped us somehow, some way.”

Washington has topped the likes of Hawaii, Illinois, Eastern Washington and Georgia State this season, but Stanford is in a different league entirely. The Cardinal lost their only Pac-12 game this year as they missed out on beating USC two weeks ago. Stanford thrashed UC Davis and Army to bring them to 2-1 on the season.

Washington leads the all-time series 41-38-4, but Stanford has won five of the last six matchups including a 31-28 victory last season.
