Tonight at 7:08 p.m. ET, the Minnesota Twins (68-91) and Detroit Tigers (89-70) take the field at Comerica Park in Detroit for the second contest of a four-game regular season-ending series. The game can be live streamed for free here. Minnesota fans can hear all of the action on K-Twin 96.3 while Detroit fans can do the same on 97.1 The Ticket.

The number four is a big one for Detroit as it is looking to lock down its fourth straight division crown, clinched its fourth consecutive playoff berth on Wednesday and will hope to win its fourth victory in a row tonight. The Tigers lead the Kansas City Royals by two games with three to play for both teams in the American League Central race.

Detroit plays the fifth game of a seven-game homestand tonight after taking two of three from the Chicago White Sox and winning the opening game of this set 4-2 Thursday night. Minnesota is out of postseason contention, but will be looking to play spoiler to their division foe.

Rick Porcello (15-12, 3.31 ERA) toes the rubber for the Tigers in this important game while the Twins counter with Anthony Swarzak, who is 3-2 with a 4.52 ERA.

The goal is quite clear for Detroit as the Tigers do not want to settle for a wild-card spot and a one-game playoff.

"Everybody wants to make it to the playoffs, obviously," Tigers starter Justin Verlander told MLB.com, "but you never want to settle for a wild-card or just squeaking in. You want to win your division. That's the goal here."

The Tigers lineup has been flanked by a two-headed monster in first baseman Miguel Cabrera and designated hitter Victor Martinez. Cabrera is second in the MLB with 51 doubles, third with 187 hits, fourth with 107 RBI and fifth with 312 total bases while Martinez ranks first in the majors in on-base percentage (.410) and OPS (.981), second in slugging (.571) and batting average (.337), and fourth in total bases (315).

Second baseman Brian Dozier has been a spark plug for the Twins, leading the team with 21 homers and ranking second in the AL with 107 runs.

The Tigers look to inch toward a division crown while the Twins hope to spoil their plans when these teams take the field at Comerica Park tonight in Detroit.
